This event will be bookable on Monday 3 August 2026. Make a set of four unique festive fused glass hanging decorations. This is a relaxing 3-hour workshop, where you will learn about working with fused glass and create a set of four fabulous festive decorations. You will use coloured sheet glass and a wide range of accessory glass to create your designs, which will be fired and ready to collect from Attenborough Arts Centre around one week later. Keep them all your yourself or give them as unique and thoughtful gifts. No experience of working with glass is needed so this is a great introduction to this fascinating craft. The workshop runs for up to three hours, but some participants may finish a little sooner. No experience of working with glass is needed so this workshop is ideal for beginners and doesn’t involve any glass cutting, but it is also suitable for those who have completed a previous course and want to develop their skills or just make more lovely things in glass! About the tutor: Tutor Katherine has been a practicing glass designer/maker for nearly 20 years, and has an established studio in Tollerton. Her work is inspired by the natural world and the colour and clarity of glass. She shares her passion for working with glass by delivering workshops at an introductory and more advanced level in glass fusing, copper foiling and traditional stained-glass panel making. Further information: This half-day workshop will run twice on one date: Wednesday 18 November 2026, 10am – 1pm or Wednesday 18 November 2026, 2pm – 5pm Please ensure you book the correct session! Our café will be open or you are welcome to bring your own refreshments. All materials are included in the course fee. Participants must be 14+. Under 18s must be accompanied by a paying adult at all times.
