Celebrate the night sky with an evening brought to you by local experts from Bassetlaw Astronomical Society!

Join local experts from Bassetlaw Astronomical Society for a fun-filled evening of talks, demos and guided walks centred around the beauty of the night sky. Learn about Astronomy, the effects of light pollution and astro photography, marvel at the scale of the Solar System, try your hand at using telescopes and learn to identify constellations. There will also be a telescope clinic, offering the chance for 1 on 1 guidance and tips on how to get the best out of your equipment. Whether you're a beginner or experienced astronomer, there's something for everyone!

Please note that this event is not suitable for children under 14 years of age, anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Some activities take place outside on uneven terrain with very little light available, you may wish to bring a small torch/headtorch.
