About Moulin Rouge! The Musical

Moulin Rouge! The Musical at the Piccadilly Theatre, London brings Baz Luhrmann’s film to the stage in a new musical mash-up extravaganza. The show is directed by Tony Award® winner Alex Timbers, with a book by Tony Award® winner John Logan.

Set in a world of splendour and romance, it follows Bohemians and aristocrats as they come together in a production built around Truth, Beauty, Freedom and Love. Music supervision, orchestrations and arrangements are by Tony Award® winner Justin Levine, with choreography by Tony Award® winner Sonya Tayeh.

Duration: 2 hours 45 minutes including interval. Suitable for ages 12 years and older.

Before you book

Strobe lighting will be used in the show.

For matinees, the venue opens 90 minutes before the start time. For evening performances, the venue opens 105 minutes before the start time. Please arrive by 30 minutes before the start time, as latecomers will be admitted at a suitable point.
