About This Event

St Clements Church Upper Hall in Manchester welcomes attendees to an afternoon of Kundalini Yoga and Sound to celebrate the Autumn Equinox.

Join Sabira and I for a soul nourishing afternoon of Kundalini Yoga & Sound to celebrate Autumn Equinox

The Autumn Equinox is an auspicious time (1 of only 2 days in the year) when the earth and sun, light and dark come into BALANCE as day and night are equal in length.

It is the perfect time to look at balance in our own lives.

Where do you feel balanced or out of balance in your life?

Autumn Equinox is the last festival in the Celtic year and marks the end of the harvest. It is a time to

* REFLECT

*HARVEST what we’ve sown and take stock of how far we’ve come

*Be GRATEFUL for the ABUNDANCE of blessings in our lives

*Work on RELEASING the old habits and patterns that no longer serve us,

*NOURISH the body and mind as we prepare to turn our attention inwards over Autumn Winter. Our ancestors celebrated the equinoxes and the solstices with dance, meditation and ceremony and recognised Equinoxes and Solstices as two of the most important days of the year.

Today it is still a potent time to gather and practice – it holds a magical energy!

Afternoon will include:-

*KUNDALINI KRIYA to cultivate balance

*PRANAYAMA to harmonize and calm

*MANTRA to uplift and soothe your soul

*60 MINS of SOUND THERAPY with Sabira

PLUS

*PLANT BASED, HIGH VIBE SNACKS with herbal teas and fruit will be served in the break.

I look forward to sharing these practices with you and harnessing the power of the Autumn Equinox to cultivate deeper balance and harmony within ourselves.

Joining me for this event:-

Sabira - a Sound Therapist with over 20 years experience working as a professional musician and artist. Sabira sees her sensitivity as a strength so her sound baths are always gentle guided soundscapes. She uses a mixture of her voice, crystal bowls and percussion. The crystal bowls have a pure tone and can help us cleanse negative energy and tune into a higher vibration. The percussion is there to ground us and let go of anything no longer serving us. There is no wrong or right way to experience this each persons experience is different and can differ from day to day.
