Root & Restore is a yoga class taking place at Carrow House in Norwich, offering a blend of energising flow and guided relaxation. The session is designed to help participants unwind and reconnect with themselves in a tranquil environment. Ticket prices vary.
A cosy fortnightly 90 minute evening yoga class in Norwich, moving from energising flow into a slow and guided deep rest.
As the evenings draw in, take some time for yourself to slow down, move your body and enjoy a cosy evening of movement and relaxation.
Set within the light-filled Orangery at Carrow House, these sessions offer a chance to step away from the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with yourself.
We’ll begin gently, taking time to settle in and tune into our breathing before moving into a more energising sequence of movements. Gradually, things will slow down, with gentle stretches, comfortable floor-based positions and plenty of time to rest before finishing with a guided relaxation.
Every session is an invitation to take things at your own pace. You might feel like moving more energetically, or you might simply want to stretch, switch off and enjoy some quiet time. There’s no pressure to keep up or get anything right.
We’ll finish with a cup of tea and a little time for journalling (optional), giving you space to reflect or simply enjoy being still for a while.
What to expect
Time to settle in and unwind
Gentle movement and more energising sequences
Relaxing stretches and time to rest
A long, peaceful relaxation to finish
Tea, journalling and time to reflect
Who is it for?
Everyone is welcome, whether you’re completely new to yoga or have practised for years. There’s no need to be flexible or experienced. Simply come as you are and do what feels comfortable for you.
What to bring
Please bring cosy layers and warm socks, as you may get warmer while moving and cooler as you settle down to rest. A journal and pen are also recommended.
Mats, cushions and blankets are provided.
