About This Event

Malcolm Stern, a psychologist with a wealth of experience in the field, is set to present an online discussion on the importance of vulnerability in professional practice. Scheduled to take place on October 23, 2026, the free event will run from 1pm and is open to all who wish to attend. Stern will be drawing on his expertise to explore how professionals can strike a delicate balance between presenting a sense of strength and being open with their clients. This, he argues, is crucial in establishing the trust and empathy that are essential for effective working relationships. The talk is likely to be of particular interest to those working in healthcare, social work, and other caring professions. The event is free to attend, with no need for advance booking. By sharing his insights, Stern aims to encourage professionals to adopt a more authentic approach to their work, one that prioritises openness and connection with clients.
