The workshop runs on 20 October 2026 and aims to make Photoshop feel calmer by setting up an organised workspace. Participants will explore targeted edits and record their first Action to create one-click routines for repeated steps. The session continues with building reliable Actions that function across different images without requiring technical expertise.
ALL OUR EVENTS ARE RECORDED "Make Photoshop feel calmer and more creative by setting up a workspace and file system that stays organised as your projects grow" With Automation & Organisation in Photoshop IN 4 SESSIONS Workshop 1: Clean, consistent, in control. Make Photoshop feel calmer and more creative by setting up a workspace and file system that stays organised as your projects grow. We’ll explore targeted edits (including selected text) for fast, consistent changes, then record your first Action—so the steps you repeat most often become a one-click routine, leaving you more time for the fun, artistic decisions. Workshop 2: Actions you’ll actually enjoy using. Turn your favourite edits into repeatable “recipes”—from quick clean-ups to creative looks—without needing to be technical. You’ll learn how to build Actions that stay reliable (even across different images) using smart layer habits, clear naming, and simple prompts/stops when you want to make a creative choice. We’ll also organise Actions into sets, so you can switch between styles quickly and keep your workflow accurate and consistent. Workshop 3: Batch it, export it, create more. If you edit lots of images, consistency matters—and so does your time. Learn how to run Actions on folders, automate resizing and output, and apply dependable naming so everything stays tidy and client-ready. We’ll compare Batch vs Image Processor, build a one-click Droplet, and set up export presets that handle the repetitive production work—so you can spend your energy on creative refinement instead. Workshop 4: A gentle introduction to scripts (when you want more control). Scripts are like Actions with superpowers: they can loop through files, make decisions, and handle tasks that need logic—perfect for complex workflows and ultra-consistent results. We’ll have a quick look at how AI can generate scripts for you. You don’t need to be a programmer to benefit: you’ll learn how to find, run, and safely test scripts, and how to combine scripts with Actions to automate everything from file prep to creative finishing—repeatably, accurately, and with room for your personal style.
