Nature-based Art Making

Join us at the Chariclo Farmhouse on Sunday, 13th September for Creative Connection, a nature-based creative art-making workshop.

This is a chance to pause, slow down and connect, as we observe our surroundings and engage in a creative practice.

This session is open to all, especially those who feel they are ‘not artists’. No prior experience is needed; this is a chance to play, to experiment and to explore our natural surroundings. Our focus is on the process, and not the outcome.

During the afternoon session, you will be guided through a series of art-making practices, using a variety of materials and discovering new ways to observe actively. We will wander through the lands of Chariclo, the gardens and the woodlands, exploring the beauty of the nature that surrounds us, the changing colours of the seasons, the shapes and the patterns of the flora and fauna.

Most importantly, this practice is an opportunity to switch off, to leave our phones at home, and to observe the gifts before us.

We can be playful, experiment, and find flow.

We will provide a range of art materials, but please bring your own materials and sketchbooks if you desire.
