An in-person social networking event for filmmakers at WIFF 2026.

WIFF 2026 – Filmmaker Networking Social

Join us for a relaxed afternoon of conversation, connections and craft beer as Waterford International Film Festival celebrates its 20th edition.

Taking place at The House of Waterford, this informal networking social is an opportunity for filmmakers, animators, creatives, festival guests and industry friends to get together, meet new people and catch up in a friendly, laid-back setting.

Following the Animation Connect 2026 event, we're delighted to extend the opportunity for attendees and the wider creative community to continue the conversations and enjoy some time together.

Enjoy a craft beer, courtesy of our sponsor Rascals Brewery, and make some new connections. No formal presentations or structured networking – just good conversation, good company and a shared love of film and creativity.

Whether you're attending WIFF, Animation Connect or simply interested in meeting fellow creatives, you're very welcome.
