Come along and join us for relaxed and welcoming monthly Life Drawing sessions in Romsey, hampshire.

All levels, from beginners to experienced, are welcome. I believe there is no such thing as someone who can’t draw, drawing is a process and when we draw we learn so much. If you are a beginner simply bring a willingness to try and to learn.

As one of our community said "this is such a relaxing end to the week, I wish the session would never end!"

Cost: £15 per session, choose to pay as you go or to secure your place, book multiple sessions. You are welcome at any of our monthly sessions. Please email hello@elizabeth-hammond.com to book.

Sessions are not taught, but  they will be hosted by experienced  artist Elizabeth Hammond who will be on hand to provide suggestions of ways to approach each pose. We’ll have a variety of pose lengths, from a couple of minutes to half an hour with experienced male and female life models. We will take time to look at everyone’s drawings together - it’s a great way to learn from each other!

Sessions will start at 6pm and last for two hours, with a refreshment break in the middle. Refreshments (biscuits, tea, coffee and fruit teas) are included in the cost.

Materials are on hand if you need them or you are welcome to bring your own drawing equipment, paper and easels (though not solvent oil paint). Paper, pencils, graphite sticks, charcoal and A2 drawing boards will be available to use and borrow at 25p per sheet of A2 paper and a £2 contribution towards consumables. If you’re using paint or wet media, you’ll need to protect the floor.

All levels of experience welcome. If you are under 18 please email hello@elizabeth-hammond.com to discuss your attendance as I will need consent from a parent or guardian.

In the unlikely event of our having to cancel a session, we will offer a full refund. Unfortunately tickets are otherwise non-refundable but are tranferable to another session date.
