Kairos (Greek): the right time. Not clock time.
Sunday 11th October, the day after the Libra new moon.
A fresh start. And a very good excuse to stop.
Wait, what is Kairos?
Most of us are living by the clock.
Deadlines. Diaries. Doing.
Kairos is the other kind of time. The moment that's ready for you. The one you can only feel when you slow down enough to notice it.
It's also the name of the framework I've built: a soul-and-science approach to resilience for people who look like they're coping brilliantly and are running on fumes.
Resilience isn't a personality trait. It's a skill. You can build it, and it's built by feeling what you actually feel and creating real space, not by hustling through or squeezing in more recovery time between demands. It's about being restored, not performed.
The four pillars
Kairos moves through four pillars, and it's a loop, not a ladder. Nobody graduates. We just keep coming back round, a bit different each time.
Rooted: landing, grounding, feeling safe in your body
Revealing: letting what's underneath come up
Rewriting: choosing the story you're ready to live
Rising: taking it back into your life
Each pillar follows the rhythm of the moon and the seasons, so we're all moving in time with the same sky.
What this afternoon is
This is a taste of that loop in one room, with sound.
Not a lecture. Not a class. Nobody will ask you to perform, share or be anything other than horizontal.
Libra is the scales. It asks where you're over-giving. Where you've gone quiet to keep the peace. What balance would actually feel like. We'll bring that into the afternoon gently, through the sound bath, your journal and a few guided prompts, and you'll leave with a small autumn ritual to take home.
You don't have to have the answers. You just have to show up and lie down.
Why I'm holding it
I'm Sophie, a resilience coach and the founder of Kairos. I've spent my working life alongside people, from young people in care to CEOs, and the pattern is the same. The strongest ones are often the most tired. This is my first sound bath in six months, and I've missed it.
What the afternoon looks like
Arrive, settle and a little chat about the moon and the season
Guided relaxation
A one-hour sound bath, with an intention set for the session
Free-style journalling: write down whatever came through
Three guided prompts inspired by the Libra new moon and autumn
A season ritual to take home with you
Who this is for
Anyone who feels flat, overwhelmed or running on empty
People who are always the strong one and rarely held
Complete beginners. No experience needed. You can't do a sound bath wrong.
