Be held, be bound, be sound. A guided ritual of Shibari, touch and soundscape for deep softening and embodied surrender.

Bound by Sound began with a discovery: the body can surrender in ways most people never realise are possible.

A first experience of Shibari can bring a profound settling of the nervous system. With each moment, deeper stillness, safety and release unfold. The rope holds the body so the mind can soften, allowing awareness to slip beyond constant thinking.

Sound meets the body in a different way. It moves through the nervous system, shifting attention and guiding awareness inward. Together, rope and sound guide the body into surrender.

Bound by Sound is a guided ritual combining Shibari, grounding touch and sound healing.

This is not a sexual experience.

This is not a performance.

Whatever is alive in you, whether emotion, sensation or thought, is yours to feel.

The evening

The space is prepared with care: low light, candlelight, warmth, softness beneath you. A sense of stepping out of the everyday and into something intentional.

We begin slowly, sharing cacao, talking, arriving together. Nothing is rushed. The ritual begins with connection.

Next comes a short, consensual massage by qualified therapists, to help your body drop into calm and prepare for what follows. Touch is entirely optional. You decide what feels right, and you can change your mind at any point.

You are then bound by experienced Shibari practitioners and supported throughout. Time is taken, as much as you need, to help your body find comfort with blankets, bolsters, cushions and optional blindfolds. You can pause, ask for adjustments or be released at any time.

From that stillness, the sound journey begins, allowing the body to rest as attention gently turns inward.

Who it's for

Anyone who is curious about surrender, who spends a lot of time in their head, or who is simply ready to slow down. No experience necessary.
