Welcome to the Face to Face Antenatal Breastfeeding Workshop!

Join us for an interactive and informative session on breastfeeding before your baby arrives.

These sessions are designed for those who are >32 weeks into their pregnancy, so as to ensure that you meet other parents whose babies will be due around the same time as yours, and to enable those who are close to their due date can attend.

Our workshop is run by our Infant Feeding Lead and Seren Team Maternity Care Assistants and we will cover everything from the benefits of breastfeeding to practical tips and techniques for a successful breastfeeding journey. You'll have the chance to ask questions, share experiences, and connect with other expectant parents in a supportive environment.

Due to high demand, each (1) ticket covers attendance for the pregnant person and one support person only. Please only book one ticket per couple as spaces are limited. If you are unable to attend can we kindly ask you cancel your ticket, as there will be a waiting list.

This class does not include discussion on Antenatal Skills or Birth preparation. If you are interested in attending the Antenatal Skills Classes, led by our community Midwives, please sign up via Eventbrite.

Session will be held in The Cochrane Building (Health Library).

How to find us - From the main Concourse, follow signs/exits towards the lake/pond. Leave the main hospital building on the lake side. Once outside, follow the path to the left. Continue along this path and go under the hospital bypass/link road. As you come through, you should see Tŷ Dewi Sant ahead of you. The Michael Griffith Education Centre is to the right of Tŷ Dewi Sant. The Cochrane Building is just beyond/above this area, at the top of the steps. The Health Library is inside the Cochrane Building. Cardiff University’s own directions describe essentially this route from the Concourse. If wait in the main reception area a member of the team will come and greet you.
