Please note – registration for this event is available only to new and existing food and drink manufacturers based in Wales. This event is not open to consultants, related organisations, stakeholders or students.

The SALSA standard is changing

SALSA launched Issue 7 of its new Food and Drink Production Standard, this summer from the 1st June 2026 [SALSA - Latest News]. The new standard is now available on the SALSA website, allowing businesses to view the requirements and start preparing. From 1st September 2026, all SALSA audits will be conducted against the updated standard.

To support food and drink businesses through these changes, ZERO2FIVE Food Industry Centre will be delivering this event from July 2026.

This event has been specifically designed to:

Clearly explain the key changes introduced in Issue 7

Provide businesses with practical insight into how compliance can be demonstrated.

Delegates will explore and discuss significant areas of change, including:

Food fraud resilience

Management of change

Other key updates impacting SALSA compliance

The session will share best practice approaches, encourage discussion, and support businesses in preparing confidently for the transition to Issue 7.
