About This Event

Join award-winning translators Anam Zafar and Roland Glasser as they sharpen their swords for a lively duel of French words. Moderated by Ros Schwartz , they compare their contrasting translations of the same French text, revealing the creative choices, challenges and surprises behind the art of translation. No knowledge of French is needed, just a curiosity about language, storytelling and how meaning shifts from one voice to another. There will be a book signing after this event.
