Join Jennifer Fitzpatrick from SEW YOUR OWN CLOTHES and learn how to master your sewing machine!
Whether you're a beginner or just need a refresher, this hands-on workshop will cover everything you need to know to confidently operate your machine.
By the end of this class you will be able to:
Identify all parts of your sewing machine.
Thread your sewing machine properly.
Fill and load the bobbin correctly.
Select and adjust stitches for various projects.
Control thread tension for perfect stitch quality.
Learn to change presser feet and understand their uses.
Clean and maintain your machine
Troubleshoot common sewing machine issues.
We will also do some sewing and practice how to:
Sew consistent straight stitches.
Secure seams with backstitching to prevent unraveling.
Create basic seams using straight and zigzag stitches.
Handle and guide fabric effectively.

Jennifer is a sewing and pattern drafting expert who is on a mission to help women reclaim their bodies and feel great in the clothes they wear. It's a big dream but it all starts with one thing - learning how to sew.
Jennifer believes that sewing for yourself is the ultimate act of self-love.
She has radically changed her relationship with her own body through sewing and drafting her own patterns and now wants to help other women do the same.
So if you are tired of squeezing yourself into someone else's idea of beautiful.
