KNITWEAR & REPAIR
PENNEYS | CORK CITY
A quick fix master class, where you will learn simple knitwear techniques that will allow you to upcycle & repair clothes you already have to give it a longer life.
Join textile artist & knitwear expert Michelle Murphy for a 90 minute hands on practical & creative sewing workshop! No experience required!
You'll leave knowing about various knitwear mending techniques, as well as some fun & practical applications to repairing and upcycling, meaning you will be able to fix that hole in that jumper you already have!
We'll provide everything you need to take part in the specially prepared workshop area within our store. All attendees will get a re-useable tote bag and a sewing kit so that they can put what they learned into practice at home!
THE TIME: The workshop will be 90 minutes long. Please join us 15 minutes before the workshop starts for a pre-session settling in, meet & greet.
THE PLACE: The event is held in store, on the lower level in our event space
