An evening of rest and nourishment

A 2 hour workshop combining a yin yoga practice and sound healing to induce deep relaxation, soothe the nervous system and promote deep sleep.

We will start with gentle breathwork to ground into a nourishing yin practice, and finish with a full sound immersion with gongs, Tibetan & Alchemy crystal bowls, koshi chimes, an ocean drum and sansula.

Yin yoga is a gentle and meditative practice with a focus on function rather than aesthetics. It invites us to turn our gaze inwards and connect deeply with ourselves. The slow practice of deep stretching works on an energetic level to calm the nervous system, while physically targets the ligaments, joints, deep tissue and fascia and stimulates the meridian system.

Sound healing is an ancient form of therapy that works on a cellular and energetic level, entraining our body and mind to the healing frequencies and vibrations of the sound instruments.

The yin practice and healing sounds will all combine to help the body and mind release and let go of any stress or tension and bring the body into balance.

Bolsters and blankets will be provide, but feel free to bring anything extra for your own comfort - pillows, cushions, blankets, an eye pillow, and your own yoga mat and water.

Access is from 6pm, and the studio doors will be closed at 6.15pm so we can start on time. Late entry unfortunately will not be possible.

Over 18's only. Not suitable if you are pregnant, have a pacemaker, metal implants, epilepsy, extreme sound sensitivity, severe mental health conditions, severe high blood pressure or heart rhythm disorders.
