The FLOATING SOUND BATH experience is scheduled for 23 September 2026 at the Manchester Aquatics Centre. This wellness activity costs £41.34 and involves lying on an inflatable bed while listening to bowls.
Think this, you lie on inflatable bed, head on pillow, mask on eyes, blanket over you & we set sail your bed on water as you listen to bowls
Discover a unique, holistic approach to managing stress and supporting your wellbeing as you start university life. This floating sound bath is designed for students who are looking for gentle, effective ways to balance study, social life, and mental health.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Picture this, you will be assisted to lie on an inflatable bed. You lie in it, rest your head on a pillow, place a weighted eye mask over your eyes, and then be covered with a plush blanket. We then set you sail into the pool, and the bed will float whilst you rest, listen, and drift away to the sound of the bowls. You will remain dry whilst lying on the bed.
Each participant is allocated their own floating bed, creating a deeply restful experience on water designed to support relaxation, ease tension, and help calm stress and anxiety.
The session combines guided breathwork to settle the nervous system with the soothing vibrations of a live sound bath, helping to promote better sleep, emotional balance, and a renewed sense of calm in both body and mind.
A lifeguard is around at all times whilst you are in deep rest.
BENEFITS INCLUDE:
Reduced stress and anxiety
Improved sleep quality
Greater emotional balance and mental clarity
Deep physical relaxation and release of tension
