Step into centuries of history with one of our passionate and knowledgeable volunteers on a captivating 45-minute to 1-hour tour of Newcastle Cathedral. Uncover the fascinating stories behind this magnificent building – from its medieval origins to its enduring role at the heart of our community today. Gain unique insights and personal perspectives as your guide brings the Cathedral’s rich heritage to life, sharing tales of faith, resilience and Northern innovation. These tours are available on a ‘Give As You Feel’ basis, with a suggested donation of £7. Your support helps us maintain the Cathedral, continue our charitable work, and keep the doors open for all. Pre-booking is not compulsory; however, please be aware that each tour has limited spaces available on the day.
