Journey beneath the Yorkshire Dales for a magical sound bath surrounded by ancient rock & the extraordinary acoustics of Ingleborough Cave ♡
There are some places that are made for sound ♡
This September, we invite you to journey beneath the Yorkshire Dales for a sound bath somewhere truly extraordinary.
Hidden beneath the landscape, surrounded by ancient rock and shaped by nature over millions of years, Ingleborough Cave will become the setting for an hour of sound, stillness and deep connection with the earth.
Before we journey underground, our experience begins amongst the trees and water of the Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail.
We’ll walk together through the beautiful Yorkshire Dales landscape towards the cave entrance, allowing the journey itself to become part of the experience.
And then we step beneath the earth ♡
Hard hats on, we’ll make our way through the beautifully lit natural passageways of Ingleborough Cave before arriving at the space where our sound bath will take place.
Here, deep beneath the Yorkshire Dales, we’ll settle into our chairs and allow the incredible acoustics of the cave to become part of the sound.
The resonance
The echoes
The ancient rock surrounding us
The earth holding us ♡
For approximately one hour, you’ll be invited to settle and receive as the sounds and vibrations travel, echo and resonate through this remarkable underground space.
Held and cocooned beneath the earth, this is Sound Healing Magic in a place unlike anywhere we have shared it before ♡
Your Journey
Your experience begins at 3:15pm at The Old Sawmill Café.
You are very welcome to arrive earlier and make a day of your visit, enjoy the surrounding area or have lunch and refreshments at the café before we meet.
At 3:30pm, we’ll set off together along the approximately 1.2 mile Ingleborough Estate Nature Trail towards the cave.
Following the trail through beautiful woodland, alongside the water and surrounded by nature, there is time to breathe, take in the landscape and gently arrive into the experience.
The trail follows a well-maintained gravel track at a gentle incline.
Once we reach Ingleborough Cave, there will be time to use the toilet facilities and purchase refreshments from the cave shop before collecting our hard hats and heading underground.
We will then walk through the cave to our sound bath space, ready to begin at approximately 4:30pm.
Please be aware that there are two short sections within the cave where the roof height reduces and you will need to bend down and stoop as you walk through.
After approximately one hour of sound, we’ll make our way back through the cave and return together along the Nature Trail.
