Inner child work is well known and easily done poorly. It can become a script, a visualisation the client politely goes along with, or a conversation about childhood that never leaves the present tense.

Show Me Inner Child does not ask the client to imagine anything on your instruction. It asks them to make something, and then it follows what they made.

It brings the Inner Child to conscious thought and lets it have a voice. Where it can re-assess unhelpful influences or values, beliefs and behaviours and gain a more helpful perspective, which can positively impact the adult.

None of them asks why. You do not name, diagnose or interpret for them. You provide the structure. The meaning stays entirely with the client.
