About This Event

A monthly Nāda Yoga Sound Bath session takes place on 25 October 2026 at 19:00 at Bullbrook Community Centre in Bracknell. The event features Yoga Nidra and Himalayan singing bowls to support stress reduction and rest.

Experience Nāda Yoga, Yoga Nidra and a Himalayan singing bowl sound bath to reduce stress, restore calm and support deep rest.

There is a sound beneath every other sound.

There is a sound beneath every other sound, the Anāhata Nāda, the unstruck sound. Yet many of us move through life without becoming still enough to hear it.

Nāda Yoga is the yoga of sound, an ancient practice rooted in the understanding that vibration can reach places the thinking mind cannot. There is nothing to achieve and nowhere to perform. This is an invitation to pause, rest, and allow the gentle resonance of Himalayan singing bowls, mantra, voice and subtle vibration to support your body in releasing what it has been holding.

When the nervous system has spent too long in a state of doing, sound offers another way. It invites the body towards safety, spaciousness and deep rest.

You do not need to understand the practice for it to have meaning. Simply arrive as you are and allow your body to receive. What unfolds in the space between sound and silence is deeply personal. That part is yours to discover.

Your Facilitator

Ashwini Shannikodi

Founder of Breathe For Transformation

Yoga found me long before I realised how deeply I needed it. Years of caregiving, grief and burnout eventually taught me what my body had been trying to communicate all along, that healing begins when we learn to listen.

I trained in the Nāda Yoga and Sound Healing tradition at the Temple of Singing Bowls in Mysuru, India, and hold a PhD in Social Work alongside professional training in trauma-informed yoga, Yoga Nidrā, Prāṇāyāma and mind-body approaches.

The practices I share come from lived experience as much as professional study. They are rooted in compassion, nervous system awareness and the understanding that each person already holds an innate capacity for healing and transformation.

Through Breathe For Transformation, I create safe, supportive spaces where people can slow down, reconnect with themselves and experience the restorative power of breath, sound and embodied awareness.

I look forward to welcoming you.
