What is it?

Open to everyone, join us at CodeBase at Wasps Inverness Creative Academy to connect with members of the local tech community. Come for a coffee, networking and build connections, and stay for the hotdesking!

What can I expect?

Unfiltered is a relaxed, informal morning for anyone interested in connecting with people from across the tech ecosystem. We keep the agenda loose, focusing on good conversations over coffee, with space to meet new people and catch up with familiar faces.

During Unfiltered we have our Community Bell, a chance for you to hear from us and other community members about opportunities and events happening over the next month, feel free to make an announcement or ask a member of CodeBase staff to speak on your behalf!

Or you can sign up for our Spotlight, where you have up to 5 minutes to share your story with the group. This could be your founder journey, lessons learned as an investor, an unconventional career path, or anything else you think the community would enjoy hearing. It’s informal, with no slides or pitch needed - just you, your experience, and an open conversation.

There’s no pressure to take part in either, you’re just as welcome to come along, listen in, and chat at your own pace. You don’t need a background in tech to join us; we welcome anyone curious about meeting new people and learning more about the community.

Where and when is this taking place?

Unfiltered Inverness takes place on the first Tuesday of the month. Please feel free to drop in at any time between 09:00 to 10:30, in our hotdesking space at Wasps Inverness Creative Academy.

Who will be there?

Techies, creatives, academics, freelancers, CodeBase staff and anyone interested in meeting peers within the Inverness tech ecosystem and beyond!

Registration

We ask everyone to sign up individually, so we can have an estimate of how many people want to attend. We will also check-in each person on Eventbrite as they join the event so make sure you've signed up to the event in order to attend!

We offer Community and Member access to world-class education, a peer-led online and offline community, and flexible workspaces.

Techscaler membership is for any prospective or current startup founder, startup employees, or more broadly anyone who is involved in the Scottish tech ecosystem. Membership offers tailored support depending on your goals. When someone applies to become a Techscaler member, our team can direct applicants to the most suitable Techscaler support.
