Ladies! We have a great opportunity for you to focus on YOU, your health, strengthen your body and optimise your health through the perimenopause and menopause. Thanks to South Norfolk District Council’s Health & Wellbeing Partnership funding, we are able to run six free cookery sessions. Caroline Blake and Sara Mathews will lead you step-by-step through preparing meals and desserts tailored to women’s midlife health. Dr Emma Ping is committed to busting some of the myths surrounding women’s later years. The menopause is not just one day, or something to be “passed through”. The menopause lasts for the rest of a woman’s life. Strengthening your body to safeguard against brittle bones and other problems in later life can be greatly enhanced through diet containing adequate protein, and exercise. This six-week cookery course provides tips, recipes, experience, and an opportunity to cook and dine together. Bookings will be taken for each session, allowing you to select those you are able to attend and that meet your dietry requirements. There will be a plant-based session and one focusing on allergens. To book, simply email info@clearcompany.org.uk with the subject title “Women’s Cookery Workshops” . List the dates you would like to attend and we will confirm availability with you. All sessions will be on a Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 9.30pm. You will have the chance to cook at one of six stations with 4 other women and dine together.
