Philosopher Julian Baggini and senses scientist Barry Smith come together to explore the deeper meaning behind one of the world’s most beloved drinks. From the history and culture of coffee to the moments of pause, connection and contemplation it creates, they ask whether this everyday habit might offer us a different way of thinking about time, attention and the art of living well. They join forces for a thoughtful and surprising conversation about how something as simple as a cup of coffee can reveal more about ourselves and the world we share.
