An intimate cacao ceremony to slow down, reconnect with your heart and journey inward through sound and reflection.

As September draws to a close and we settle into the beginning of autumn, nature invites us into a different rhythm - one that is a little slower, quieter and more inward.

After the fullness and outward energy of summer, this ceremony is an invitation to pause, ground and reconnect with yourself.

We’ll gather in circle and intentionally share ceremonial cacao, taking time to arrive into the space, set an intention and connect with the heart. There will also be space to experience and connect with Mama Cacao in your own way, allowing the plant to gently accompany the journey inward.

We’ll reflect on what the past season has brought - what you may wish to honour, what may be ready to soften or be released, and what you would like to carry with you into the months ahead.

From there, we’ll move into a guided inner journey, with moments of stillness and reflection.

Sound will be woven throughout the ceremony through crystal singing bowls, shamanic drum, chimes and other instruments, bringing different layers of rhythm and vibration to accompany the experience.

Every journey with cacao is different. There is no particular way you need to feel and nowhere you need to get to.

No previous experience with cacao or meditation is needed - simply come as you are.

A little note about cacao

If you are particularly sensitive to caffeine, have a heart condition or blood-pressure concerns, are pregnant, or take medication and are unsure whether cacao is suitable for you, please contact me before attending. Your cacao serving can be adapted where appropriate.

What to bring

Yoga mats, cushions and blankets will be provided.

You may wish to bring:

Comfortable clothing

Water

A journal and pen (optional) if you’d like to capture any reflections after the ceremony.

Any special items you want to place in the altar (crystals, a photo, something sentimental, etc) (optional)

Please arrive 10 minutes early so we can begin the ceremony together at 2:30 pm.

Spaces are limited to keep the circle intimate.
