Fun Yoga class in West Bridgford for kids aged 5-13 to stretch, move, and have a blast!

Children’s Yoga in West Bridgford

A weekly yoga class for children aged 5-13, designed to help them move well, understand their bodies and develop skills they can carry beyond the yoga mat.

Classes combine yoga movement, balance, mobility, breathing, coordination and relaxation. Children learn how to focus their attention, recognise how their body feels and use movement and breathing to help regulate themselves.

This isn’t about being the most flexible child in the room or performing perfect poses. Children are encouraged to explore movement at their own level, with exercises adapted for different ages, abilities and experience.

No previous yoga experience is needed.

When: Wednesdays, 4:45-5:30 pm

Where: West Bridgford Methodist Church, Musters Road, NG2 7PQ

Ages: 5-13

Try the class

A first taster session is £5 per child.

Children can also try both Yoga and Pilates for £10, with Children’s Yoga running on Tuesdays from 5:00-5:45 pm at the same venue.

Please bring an exercise or yoga mat.

Before your child attends

After booking your child’s taster session, you’ll need to complete two short forms before their first class:

1. Child registration form

This gives me the information I need about your child and their class.

2. Physical activity readiness form

This covers the health and safety information I need before they take part.

You’ll receive the links after booking. Both forms must be completed before your child attends their first class.
