About This Event

Mantle introduces two exciting debuts: Idrissa Simmonds-Nastili ’s Backstitch trails three generations of women across 1920s Haiti, 1930s Harlem, and 1990s Brooklyn; Frankie Zwick ’s American epic, One Trick Pony , follows neighbouring Wyoming ranch families whose lives, and rivalries, are shaped by the brutal land. These stories are perfect for fans of Min Jin Lee or Barbara Kingsolver. Chaired by Daniel Hahn . Ticket includes a glass of fizz or soft drink and a goody bag of limited edition proofs.
